Got Benefits from J&J? Use Them Before 2021
If you have dental insurance benefits, chances are you get it from your employer like the roughly 90 percent of U.S. individuals with a private dental plan. With thousands of people employed by Johnson & Johnson in Pennsylvania and Doylestown, Dr. Rakowsky and her team wants to remind patients that now is the time to make use of dental benefits if you have not used them.
Whether you have not used them for your routine checkup and cleaning, you have an unfinished treatment, or you simply aren’t sure how to maximize them to the fullest, Dr. Rakowsky and his knowledgeable team members will help you every step of the way! On January 1st, 2021, your benefits will be lowered, so give us a call today!
How to Use Your Dental Benefits in 2020
If you have not yet been to our office this year, it’s very likely that your dental benefits will cover most if not all of your costs associated with routine checkups and cleanings. This is because dental insurance is largely focused on preventive forms of care, including exams and detailed cleanings to remove plaque and tartar from hard-to-reach areas of the mouth.
Alternatively, if you have started a previous treatment with us (i.e. crown placement, gum therapy, etc.), and were never able to complete it due to the pandemic, now is the time to finish your care before a problem arises and requires more expensive treatment down the road.
If you aren’t sure how to use your dental benefits, don’t worry; we’ll never make you navigate your plan on your own, especially if you have questions or complicated treatments that need to get done. Our office manager, Michelle, is happy to discuss your plan’s benefits in great detail and make sure you get the best value from your care.
Worried About COVID? Your Safety is Our Top Priority
The pandemic has truly thrown a wrench in our day-to-day lives, including our routine healthcare visits that keep us safe from harmful conditions like tooth decay and gum disease. Thankfully, you have nothing to worry about when you visit our office for care.
Dr. Rakowsky and his team take the pandemic very seriously, which is exactly why we have implemented 24 safety protocols that keep disease transmission to an absolute minimum. On top of that, dental offices were actually deemed one of the safest places to visit according to a study completed by researchers over at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Of course, we encourage you to give our safety protocols a review yourself to learn more.
From all of us at the practice, we that you’ll make the most of the dental benefits entitled to you as a Johnson & Johnson employee. Whether you’re overdue for a checkup or you need help using your benefits, give us a call today and we’ll be happy to help!
